One of the things I do when I’m feeling bad is to go and search Facebook for funny memes. Of course, ideas on what is considered funny vary from person to person. When I find the memes, I often keep them so I have them on hand for when a friend is feeling bad and I can send the memes to them.
It’s a silly thing and it probably doesn’t help a whole lot but I send memes when I want people to know I’m thinking about them but I have no idea what to say.
I came across a more serious meme the other day, and it was excellent. It said that just because you broke up with someone doesn’t mean that person is a narcissist, sociopath, psychopath, or whatever other uninformed fake diagnosis we want to give them.
It was the last bit that was the most profound, though. It said that it’s perfectly legitimate and normal to break up just because you are unhappy together. Nobody has to be the villian, it just didn’t work out.
