Actually it does matter if you’re the person editing the article and have to go and fix every single sentence. It’s not that not a huge waste of my time but I have to be very sure to make sure I get every single one. If work has to conform to certain style guides, which most do, it must be fixed. Why should I have to sit there and fix every single sentence on someone’s document just because they refuse to get with the times? It’s not like you guys can’t do it properly, you just refuse.
