Damn. I'm sorry.

I was a sex slave as a small child, and have been trafficked or attempts made to traffick me many times. Any of the perpetrators I knew personally, from my parents to their friends, were all conservatives who said they were Christian. I mean I never met Jesus in their churches but they claim Christian status so whatever.

They were also white supremacist, neo-nazi, dominionists, and I was raised that way. I was raised to hate Catholics the absolute most, followed by Black people, Jews, Muslims, and LGBTQ folks.

It was hard to walk away because I lost my entire community but it was the right thing to do and worth it. It pisses me off to see this stuff rising again and people following it all, because it's hatred and it's wrong and I worked so hard to get away and people have died and how can this even happen? I hate the world sometimes.
