Drug tests should be like sobriety tests: done if a driver of a vehicle is truly believed to be impaired WHILE OPERATING said vehicle. But not just for employment.

It was made clear to me when I got my licenses for the lift truck and forklift at a certain big box retailer that if I so much as hit a shelf with the thing, I'd be drug tested. I can see that for their protection although bumping a shelf probably doesn't mean someone is using.

Testing just to secure employment is not cool.
