Just like Frankenstein,
they created a monster.
It’s easy to create a monster.
You just have to degrade a person enough
that they lose their humanity.
The monster never wanted to be a monster.
The monster was created to be a monster.
After all, a monster cannot be loved,
cannot be controlled,
cannot be accepted in society.
Monsters do monstrous things,
because they are monsters
and that’s what monsters do.
It’s their nature,
their purpose.
Monsters are created
when humanity is stolen,
but when the monster reaches out to Jesus and Mary,
monsters are loved,
and their humanity restored with dignity.
