Great story. The USA can be so snotty with job history and they still want to own you. I was told that none of my job experience from Australia counted because I didn’t work in the USA. Like nobody can be any good unless they started out here. I hate that attitude and it sounds like you came up against it too. Sears hired me for $7.25 an hour, wanted me on call, they didn’t do raises ever, and I had to confirm my body to how they wanted me to look. It’s crazy here.
