Homelessness is horrific to experience no matter if a person is couch surfing, living in a shelter, in their car, or on the streets. I’ve done some of all of those but mostly on the street. It’s hard now getting rentals than people can afford and I’m thankful that now I’m older and have kids, we are in stable housing. It’s in a rough neighborhood and people keep telling me to move but there’s nowhere to go and someone has to live in the rough places. I am grateful.
