Honestly, this note would have upset me if I received it from a friend. The first line is fine. Apologizing for if someone else hurt your friends' feelings to me seems like you think she's too sensitive, and you can't apologize for someone else's behavior.

My biggest thing is when someone apologizes to me for how I feel I feel like they don't actually care and it's their way of shutting my hurt down. Hopefully your friend is stronger than me in that regard. :)

I would hope that next time, people would refuse to let Jax come to the party.

Just my thoughts. I had a friend who didn't stand up for me when someone did that to me. He also said it was a matter of opinion and all. I think I wrote that story on Medium already.

I don't speak to him anymore, it was too much to get through together.
