I actually haven’t attended many funerals. I wasn’t allowed to as a child. One that I attended here was an abuser of mine and I went only to make sure that he was really dead.

So I haven’t heard many songs played at funerals. I think not being allowed to go as a child has contributed to my anxiety and I try not to go.

Besides, I tend to be the one who either helps them die peacefully or who sees them after they have died and helps them get where they need to be.
