I agree but disagree too. Privilege with stuff like racism is very important. White people do have privilege and they really do seem to not be able to get what people are upset about, although half the time I think it’s because they don’t want to.

But yes, I’ve also had it used to shut me down on subjects I know a lot about because I looked or sounded a certain way.
