I chose a couple of ways to contact me and am quite clear I won’t use others, but thankfully all my people already use either regular texting or Messenger. I’m on the fence about Discord and probably my will eventually. I said no outright to Telegram, even though the person said it’s all they use. I said we just wouldn’t be able to communicate then because I’m not downloading a dodgy Russian app that is used to spam people on Facebook.
