I completely disagree. Most of these people already know their comments are unacceptable, it's just that they are used to getting away with it. Letting people get away with trashing other people who are a group being oppressed is not kind, and they don't need to be pandered to. Malky's response is spot-on because on some level these people know what they are doing and saying.
