I cut my parents off five years ago. I’m not interested in ever having any contact again. My parents did not do the best they knew how to do.

I’m glad that some people are able to reconnect if that’s what they want to do, or talk once in a while.

While I’m not constantly angry at my parents, I don’t owe them a damn thing either.
