I hate it when parents do all they can to ruin what their children want. I don’t own my kids and as much as there are certain things I’d rather them not do such as join the military for instance, I won’t try to stop them once their mind is made up. I’ll offer gentle guidance and thoughts but won’t try to keep them from doing whatever it is I don’t like. They are their own persons.

You’re very talented despite what your mother did to you. The fact that you do so well without the education says so much about your skill.
