I hate it when people are like this, and when they don’t believe me. It sounds like she wasn’t a good friend. Some people clearly have higher levels of trauma than others but it doesn’t excuse the trauma olympics.

I don’t play my “I’m educated” card much because it’s snobby and unnecessary, but I do play it when someone is being nasty to others over things I know something about. It’s the same with the trauma olympics, I do it if I have to but apart from that, no.
