I have a couple photos with one of my daughters in them that I used for an article. I asked her if I could use them. I asked her again when I used one for something else. I explained that I would always ask for each thing and she can rescind that permission any time she wants to. Since I don’t write much about my kids and don’t exploit them, she’s fine with it for now. Maybe she always will be, or maybe not. Either was is okay.
