I have mixed feelings as in employers must pay living wages. It’s not my job to pay their employees and so often I feel like people should quit tipping until we are able to get the message across and change the system. That would hurt the wait staff, though. However it might get them to actually fight for themselves. I’d be all for mass quitting. At the same time, I’m not going to stiff the wait staff because their employer is immoral and I always tip well. Which is why I don’t go out. It’s too expensive to pay employees as well as eat.
