I have tended to use non binary pronouns for God when I don’t use she. I was involved in Pagan and goddess worship so it is something that’s got connotations for me. It’s similar to how I don’t see Mary as a goddess replacement but as someone who is superior and transcends the goddess. But those who don’t have strong Marian spirituality I’ve noticed are the ones who need the use of feminine pronouns for God more. I’m not against using them, but I can’t after where I’ve been. Instead of using they/them my church uses God as a pronoun even though most of them are fine with feminine pronouns too.
