I never understood the concept of all sins being the same as if lying was the same as murder. But they don’t really believe that because they think homosexuality is worse.

I have a more Catholic understanding of sin. I do think there is a difference between venial sin and mortal sin even if we don’t use those terms. Murder is a bad, mortal sin. Lying, depending what about, is not as serious so a different category.

That aside, fuck that church. I know many that have that on their website unfortunately. At least they are honest about it I suppose.
