I prefer to read more literary stories actually, because I’m a creative nonfiction writer. I think it comes down to genre preference rather than not being accessible to all. There’s no point writing within a genre if I’m not going to write articles that align with that genre. I do t tend to enjoy basic articles with no artistic flair so I guess my point is that it’s personal. It differs from person to person.
