I think it is often about priorities. I don’t give a fuck what’s on the telly, actually I don’t even have one and don’t purchase cable. Not because I’m the shit but because I have no interest. It’s not a priority.

There are certain books I do buy, and newly released either because I need it right now for study or a writing project l, and others I wait for thrift stores, but the ones I do pay for new are high on my priority list and I almost always have at least two reasons for purchasing each.

Priorities matter, and are different for each person and family. I always find it fascinating to see what is and is not important to others. Good article.
