I wanted to do swimming, gymnastics, or field hockey. I don’t think I’d have done well being super competitive and it’s mostly school and professional sports I have huge issues with and was going to write more. It’s not about the actual games, it’s about the bad stuff that comes with it (schools caring more about sports than academics, football players being idolized while they have domestic assault charges on them while the ones that kneel for the national anthem being shunned, the stuff Brett Favre is getting out of because he’s famous, the incredible salaries they get being completely immoral, etc).
