I wouldn’t have a problem with something that merely had conservative leanings, but this is QAnon propaganda which is a huge difference.
Any of the trafficking victims I’ve known who have seen it said it’s not accurate at all. Do you not care that one of the people was charged with kidnapping recently? They are doing the very thing the film is supposedly against.
These people are Dominionists, the same people who trafficked me. They are still involved in trafficking.
A right-leaning film would have been fine, one that is funded by white supremacists is a whole different matter. Can you really trust them?
You can support the film if you like, just like anyone else can, but you’re certainly not safe for trafficking victims so it’s probably a good thing for people to know.
Everyone has the right to believe propaganda, the victims of such have the right to not trust those people, and to speak out.
Consider what happened to you going further, and then someone singing the praises of a film that damages the victims it pretends to protect. How would that make you feel?
You don’t have to listen to me as a victim or anyone else if you’d rather not, but I’ll keep speaking out. I’ll just do it somewhere where people are wanting to listen and learn.
