I write creative nonfiction and the whole SEO thing in my mind totally ruins the CNF vibe. It’s not supposed to be content, or a how to article. It’s supposed to be personal and SEO and whatever else is so impersonal it does not fit the genre. I will attempt to do the SEO thing if I’m writing copy, though, as that’s what I feel like it’s for.
