I write the stories I want to read.

Whether they make money or not, I write them.

My stories can be gloomy and depressing because that's been my life.

I've been able to relate to some literary works but most of them are just boring and like you said, snobby. There needs to be a story not just a string of magnificent sounding words that can evoke a murky atmosphere that does nothing.
