On further thought, it’s kind of arrogant if you haven’t been homeless, to make horrible assumptions about homeless people. I get what the cultural narrative is on homelessness from the elite and from people that have never experienced the awfulness, but it’s simply not true. Please, I urge you, do what feels best with your money because it’s yours, but please don’t make assumptions about us. This person was a panhandler, not homeless. Some homeless people panhandle, a lot do not, but it’s unfair to base your assumptions of homeless people on panhandlers.
