I’m not Michelle of course but for me most of those things are a maturity and skill based thing, not age.

My youngest will be able to learn to drive at sixteen. The oldest will be sixteen in August and there’s absolutely no way in hell I’m going to let her learn to drive.

Why? She hasn’t the skills. She has very little awareness of her surroundings and is socially much younger than 16.

Two of mine have phones and got them when I felt it became necessary to do so. I wanted them to be able to contact me from their dad’s house, if there was an emergency or whatever.
