I’m super excited to announce that my new book, “In Thy Dark Streets Shineth” is now available for purchase in both paperback and Kindle. Containing major Advent themes, it’s out just in time to read during Advent or Christmas.

It’s interesting that on the very day I would publish a book about beginning to believe in hope there would be a shit show that would challenge every damn thing I wrote in the book. The book is about living nonviolently as this country heads down a very violent road. I’ll need every fucking thing I’ve learned in the course of working on the book to get through.

Really though I’m kind of mad. I wrote the words, and now God wants me to keep living them? Damn.

Anyway, here’s the blurb:

Growing up, I heard a lot about God. After all, I went to a fundamentalist church every time the doors were open. The problem was that I never met Jesus. By the time I was coming of age, I had given up believing that God would ever love me, and so I went off into the world of homelessness, gangs, prostitution, and spiritual evil. This essay collection is based on the old hymn “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”
