I bought a homeless man breakfast about a year ago now, he was so grateful. A week or so later, I came across a wreck where he had been hit by a car while riding his bike. He was dying but not dead yet. I spoke to him, told him it would be okay, that I would miss seeing him around, and the man breathed deeply and released his soul to death. I was thankful to be there to help in life and death. Much better than giving to a charity.
