I’ve been baptized several times, most were my choice. When I got baptized for the last time, it was for a specific reason and there was a need and in my church the legitimacy of those baptisms was suspect, and I agreed with the reason why. They weren’t seeking more baptisms and in fact I did mine privately and people know it happened but it wasn’t officially recorded. They were just happy for me. The reason I sought it again ended up showing the legitimacy of my reasoning and choice. It wasn’t a choice made lightly. But I had the dignity of making my own decision. Someone tried to baptized me without my consent which was a violation but now it was done and it was done right. What happened to you was not cool. Thankfully I chose mine.
