I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to either say something outrageous or very controversial, spew a conspiracy theory, or suck up to the right person to get anywhere. I’m willing to write something controversial if I feel like it, but I’m not going to fight for a place at the table with the popular kids. I’m a good writer. So are you. I know I’m frustrated as people mostly leave claps and rarely comments despite knowing that comments make us more money.
