I’ve noticed with editors across the platform that I mesh much better with some than others. Some share the same vision maybe but others, also good editors, aren’t as into the story or my style or whatever. I like getting to know them.

One thing that frustrates me with editors across the platform is when they ask me to not go in until they say they are done but then never let me know they are done and a day or two later I assume it was rejected but they don’t want to tell me. What’s the protocol with that? How long before we can assume an editor is done before we go in there? I’ve had a delay of anything from 12 hours to 3 days.
