I've seen this happen time and time again, which is why I'm not offended or shocked. Much of Christianity has become an issue especially since we have insisted on trying to force the culture to be Christian which is wrong.

I live as a Christian because I'm a Christian. Why should those not Christian be forced to live that way? For me it was definitely Jesus rather than the Bible that brought me to Christianity.

I too prayed hundreds of sinners prayers. It never did stick. Most of the people I know from an evangelical background have bcome atheists.
