Kids tend to wander whether we want them to or not. I wrote a piece a few weeks ago about my 13-year-old autistic son going missing.

We have small boys who live around the corner, I’m talking maybe 7 at the oldest. They go around with no shoes or shirts, no supervision ever, and threatening people with knives. I do have a problem with that.

Then they go home to their mom and get her to come issue threats (I have three sets of assault charges on their mom). She is raising them to do this.

The rest of us, however, are doing our best. You are too.
