Loving to Hate Transgender Minors
Conservatives just won’t stop meddling in other people’s affairs
The Governor of my state is going to be signing a bill titled HB1125 as early as next week that makes gender affirming care for minors illegal.
The state did not consult medical professionals, although they made their voices known in insisting that gender affirming healthcare saves the lives of transgender children despite not being consulted. They were ignored despite their evidence.
This is because it has nothing to do with evidence, or wanting to do right by the children in Mississippi. HB1125 has passed simply because the special interest political groups with all the money have demanded it.
HB1125 is nothing more than an attack on our already vulnerable transgender children in Mississippi.
Of course, the people in charge of this have made up lies to make their case seem legitimate. They have constantly claimed that transgender minors have received gender affirming surgery, which is false.
