This essay was developed brand new, it wasn’t based on anything I”d previously written. Mercy triumphs over the judgment , the Bible says in the book of James, which I used to be able to recite in it’s entirety from the King James Version. This doesn’t mean there is no judgment, it just means that in the end, mercy is the winner. There are several books that I’ve read over the last couple of years that contained ideas that were hugely significant to my healing. The information contained in those books was absolutely life-changing.
Two of those books were “Accidental” by David Peters, and “Executing Grace” by Shane Claiborne. “Accidental” is about the aftermath of accidentally or unintentionally killing someone, as many of us live with the pain that comes from that, and Shane’s book is about the death penalty and arguing for it’s abolition.
