My 11-year-old daughter the other day asked "mom, why do they call it common sense? If it were common, people would have it."

But yeah, I feel like trigger warnings are saying that because I suffered a lot, I'm too stupid to know what to read, and I resent them. I'm not stupid just because I went through bad things.

It pisses me off.
