“nobody will believe you”
my parents say
while my body screams

the truth is
my body screams
and it matches
my memories

“false memories”
people claim
while my body screams

the truth is
my body screams
and it matches
my memories

“you’re delusional”
they say
while my body screams

the truth is
my body screams
and it matches
my memories

“that didn’t happen”
they sneer
while my body screams

the truth is
my body screams
and it matches
my memories

“i don’t believe in evil”
she says
while my body screams
