My daughter and I are totally patient with anyone who doesn’t know or who, like you, genuinely messes up. We are glad for people like you that are open.

It’s still hard for her to misgendered, and we live in Mississippi so people (especially teachers, she’s no longer in public school) would weaponize her name and pronouns and bully her.

I think if everyone could have patience with the other, it would help. Bullies on the other hand…
