My youngest was ten when I started homeschooling. When I said that her grandma was upset that I was looking for completely secular science because it taught evolution and that grandma believed that the earth was created in six literal days about 6,000 years ago she looked at me with confusion and said "didn't they teach science when grandma went to school?"
