Oh they knew damn well what they were doing. Pretending they don’t doesn’t actually make it so. These people have been waiting in excitement for their turn to kill someone with their gun and then pretend it was about defense. These people can’t wait to kill. It’s exciting to them and they think they can get away with it and what’s more is they probably will.
