Someone told my parents I was self harming and they said next time they’d lock me in my room and I’d lose everything and spend my life in my room with none of my stuff and be escorted back and forth to the bathroom and have my food brought to me three times a day until I repented of whatever sin was making me hurt myself. If was them. They were the problem. They tried to kill me. That’s why I’m sensitive when people take self harm to the parent. Often the parent is why they do it.
