That’s what bothers me about this whole thing. If Putin has 80% approval, then most everyday Russians are just fine with the attempted invasion of Ukraine and that’s fucked.

I’m impressed by Ukraine’s resilience and how hard they are fighting. I’m a pacifist but I’m still impressed because Russia seemed to think they could barge their way into Ukraine and conquer it within a month.
