The insistence on it not being Mary Magdalene in one of those stories when it doesn’t harm people for it not to be but people like me really relate to her story if she is (therefore no harm to you and helps me), and the whole asking only for Bible proof sounds evangelical as fuck.

It’s a sore point with me that people want to snatch the story so bad because for whatever reason they don’t like it. They don’t want people like me to have anyone to relate to.

I get that you disdain the traditional story for your own reasons but it doesn’t make sense why people want to do it so bad.

She was an amazing woman who loves Jesus deeply, but people only want to accept the half of the story that they like.

I did quite a bit of study on those two stories on purpose because I got mixed up. There’s zero reason to believe it wasn’t her and evidence that it could have been. Why is that so upsetting?

You’ll see it how you want to see it but I have put some work into this particular story because it’s important.
