This is worse than cringe, because this is harmful. I’m a Christian so I don’t comment much here but if, and that’s a big if, this woman is a “therapist” I can only assume she’s not a licensed one. Which means she’s only a therapist in the eyes of her church. She seems to know how to gaslight and pretend to be persecuted pretty well.

I too have been deeply abused and hurt by Christianity. My healing process has been different to yours and I’ve found my place still within Christianity. I certainly don’t see that as being the norm, and I don’t claim to be a good Christian.

I will tell this lady that I’m very committed and devoted even if I’m not good at it, and that I’ve never felt that you (Lilith) has ever treated me badly or disrespected me because I’m a Christian. She will probably choose not to believe that but oh well.

Keep writing your story, Lilith. They tried to kill me multiple times too. Keep telling the world what happened, just like I do.
