To be fair, English and American "English" are two very different animals. It's been sixteen years I've been here in the USA and I stll come across things where I don't understand what I was saying. But if they take attitude with me and tell me to learn English correctly I'll tell them that at least I speak the genuine King's English and all they have done is corrput it. Ha!
