We didn’t know Jesus when we met Scarlett, we had heard about him and supposedly came to know him, but we had no clue who he was. Some of us went to the fundie church to keep up appearances and try to fit in. That didn’t work so well and at the same time, the life of darkness we knew and the darkness we desired began to mesh together and the concepts of good and evil got intertwined until they were the same.
