Your mom was awesome that day! My mom would never have done that. In fact she would have agreed with the secretary and ignored me. It happened with something not quite as huge but also medical and she never did apologize. Nobody did. I was right but I wasn't allowed to be right so I was still wrong.

I tried to stand up for my kids at the school and was always made to feel lesser than and there was nothing I could do. It's part of why I homeschool now.

Anyway, I adore your mom that day, I hope her legs got better, I'm sure that was a very long recovery.
