Your position makes perfect sense if you’re a person that believes baptism is more of a confirmation. It’s a pretty big difference for sure to the baptism for salvation. I was born again so many times growing up and it never did manage to stick. Ha. :)

Getting saved just didn’t change anything no matter how hard I tried after that. I think we would probably differ on the sacramental nature of the Eucharist too, which is how I eventually met Jesus. I realized I had consumed him.

I’m no theologian either but I do know what happened to me and so for me that’s good enough.

Scripture, tradition, reason, and I also add experience to that. :)
